With a background in academia, I came to We Do Web in 2020 as an associate editor with a strong command of language and a passion for research.
After spending the previous six years teaching composition and literature in higher-ed, I felt compelled to use my writing skills in online marketing and learn as much about SEO as I could.
Before my teaching experience, I wrote feature stories for local magazines, exploring the rich culture of South Florida. Between 2011-2013, I moved to the West Coast and earned my master’s degree in English literature from California State University, Fullerton, where I also dabbled in screenwriting. In 2016, I wrote the script for an independent film, TIE THE KNOT, and I am currently working on my first novel.
Besides my passion for writing, I also enjoy singing and volunteering for Planned Parenthood and Broward Women’s Emergency Fund.
