When Alex and I launched We Do Web over 15 years ago, we positioned ourselves as legal content specialists. And that label stuck. Our clients knew us as the go-to team for SEO-friendly content, and we proudly owned that space.
But here’s what most don’t realize: Content is the hardest part of SEO. That’s why so many other SEO agencies hired us to create it for their clients.
We were doing the core SEO work all along.
So, a few years ago, we quietly evolved into a full-service legal SEO agency, expanding to offer technical SEO, web development, link building, local SEO, and more. The full SEO package. But one thing hasn’t changed: our focus on understanding where people are searching, what it takes to gain visibility in those spaces, and positioning your law firm as a solution to the searcher’s problem.
And it’s been going well ever since, both for our agency and for the law firms seeing more leads as a result of our efforts.
TL;DR
- We Do Web is a full-service law firm SEO agency.
- We Do Web built its reputation as the go-to legal content specialists.
- Expanding to full-service SEO was a natural evolution given content’s prominence in SEO.
- We Do Web’s SEO strategies have doubled (or more) law firms’ signed cases.
Why we chose to lead with content
In the early days, we saw a gap in the market. Law firms were being sold “SEO packages” that promised rankings but delivered weak, generic content that didn’t convert. Their sites sounded like everyone else’s, and their search visibility didn’t translate into real leads.
We knew content was the heart of SEO. It’s what drives visibility, builds trust, and turns searchers into clients. And without solid content, all other SEO efforts are for naught. So we focused there. We hired trained journalists, legal writers, and experienced editors. We built an engine that could deliver quality and quantity at scale, and law firms took notice.
Over the years, we’ve written hundreds of thousands of pages of content that drive millions in revenue for top law firms across the country. We’ve helped local firms like Anidjar & Levine dominate their markets, and national leaders like Ben Crump expand their digital footprint.
Our strategy worked: content that satisfies user intent and establishes authority, all packaged within the firm’s unique value proposition and differentiators.
Expanding into full-service SEO was the natural next step. Content drives every other SEO element, and we already had that down. And the approach that made our content succeed applies to SEO just as easily: understand the user and where they’re searching, build the law firm’s brand and authority across the web, and position them as the trusted solution to the searcher’s problem.
So, we dropped “Content” from our name, connected with like-minded SEO specialists and web developers, and became We Do Web.
How it’s going now
We’ve been delivering full-service SEO for several years now, and we’re proud to work with some of the most respected law firms in markets across the country.
The results speak for themselves:
- A firm operating in two western states saw a 38% increase in signed cases within 12 months.
- A multi-office Florida firm doubled its signed cases in just one year.
- Another firm in the Northeast also doubled its cases, adding 161 new signed clients over 12 months.
Just as it always has, our success comes down to one thing: tailored strategy.
We don’t believe in cookie-cutter SEO just as we didn’t believe in generic content. Every law firm we work with gets a custom roadmap, built by listening. To you. To your market. To your website. And to the ever-evolving search landscape.
That standard guides our full-service SEO approach. We actively study how people search, where they search, and what it takes to earn visibility and build trust in AI search, Google organic rankings, and local map packs.
It’s that thorough, adaptive approach that uncovers opportunities that suit you now while building for bigger, long-term growth.
Full-service SEO in the age of AI search
SEO is more complex. Search is changing as AI disrupts how people find information and discover businesses. And firms are asking better questions about what they’re paying for. They want partners who can adapt to the moment, explain the strategy, and show the results.
And we’re ready to meet that moment head-on.
We’ve brought on James Khubiar, a nationally respected SEO expert who helped lead Morgan & Morgan’s explosive growth online. With James guiding our SEO division, we’re actively studying how AI is transforming search and building strategies that drive visibility in AI results alongside traditional search like Google organic and local map packs.
